We started with one nano tank
-a white Fluval Flex 9 gallon - with 1 purple and 1 magenta mystery snail, our albino bristlenose pleco, some neon tetras, and some kuhli loaches.

Office Guppy Tank

The first tank you see when you come into the shop is the guppy tank in our office. The guppies have moved tanks twice and are currently in a 10 gallon half moon tank. This tank includes our beautiful piece of drift wood and albino pleco from our original shop tank. The biggest of our snail babies, Young Sheldon, lives in this tank. The closer you look, the more you'll notice the dozens of guppy babies of all sizes. The first of the guppy babies are now reaching adulthood!

Bathroom Betta Tank

We love our beautiful koi betta fish. He matches perfectly with our neon tetras from our original shop tank. They get along really well, too. The betta and tetras live in this 5 gallon nano tank which hasn't changed much since we set it up. This tank is in our shop bathroom.

Alexa the Axolotl

Alexa the Axolotl - or Alexalotl - is a Mexican walking fish. Axolotls are salamanders that never lose their gills and live underwater their entire lives.
Axolotls are critically endangered in the wild, but scientists and pet owners alike have helped axolotls thrive in captivity. Scientists study axolotls for their amazing ability to regenerate lost limbs and other body parts! Alexalotl eats a steady diet of earthworms. Watch her get fed in the video above! Snails on the Stairs

The snail tank is teeming with life! With dozens of purple and magenta mystery snails and all kinds of ramshorn snails, the fish are definitely outnumbered. Our green tiger barbs and silver tip tetras are fun to watch swimming around the tank. The spotted raphael catfish tends to hide during the daytime. The kuhli loaches can sometimes be spotted cuddling and dancing with each other!

At 37 gallons,
this is the biggest tank in the shop!

The Reef Tank

The Reef Tank is the only salt water tank in the shop. There are all kinds of creatures in this tank! Two clown fish, Nemo and Nema, patrol the top of the tank. Our cleaner shrimp is always scavenging for food. The yellow watchman goby lives under the live rock. When our feather duster worm comes out, it's beautiful to watch as it gracefully moves with the flow. The green star polyps coral has more than doubled in size since we introduced it to the tank less than a year ago! Our orange goniopora coral adds a pop of color to our live rock formation.
Look closely, and parts of the live rock seem to be moving - these are our sea snails and hermit crabs roaming around!
